The best aspects of our xmas stay were the beautiful views of the frozen lake and the cozy cabin-like feel of the hotel. It truly felt like we were in our own little world, away from the hustle and bustle. The staff also went out of their way to accommodate us, even delivering firewood so we didn't have to leave the room in the snow. The location was also key, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities.
The worst aspects of our stay were the outdated cabin we were given and the uncomfortable furniture. The couches and mattresses were old and worn, making it hard to relax and sleep comfortably.

The location was great on the lake and just outside the village (so lots of shops and eating places nearby). Everything within walking distance (even the laundry Clean Jeans). The cabins are cosy and clean with cooker, large fridge and pool was lovely and warm. Pool table, tennis table, basket ball and videos/dvds too so plenty to do on site when not out walking or on the lake.

We got great value for our money at Big Bear Frontier. The room was clean, had a nice view, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the lake and a short drive to Snow Summit. The staff treated us well and quickly provided us with extra supplies when we needed them.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

Location was great! Walking distance from the Village and the water. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were plenty of activities on the property, such as ping pong and cornhole, and several areas to barbecue and hang out near the rooms.
Our room was west-facing and did not have air conditioning, which made it extremely hot in the afternoon hours when the sun beat down on the room. We found it difficult to sleep due to the heat and ended up cutting our trip short.

our stay was absolutely fantastic, it was a pleasant and memorable experience and would love to stay there again. The staff were very helpful, and couldnt do enough to make our stay a happy one. The rooms were well equipped with fridge and coffee making facility,tv and plenty of towels, even for the pool, and the proximity to the lake made it the perfect place to stay.
nothing, it was perfect

We love that it is so dog friendly and has lake access. Our pups had a blast swimming in the lake. Also enjoyed the jacuzzi in our cabin. Was very relaxing after a day of hiking and playing with our dogs. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful as well. Great place to stay! We will be back!
We really loved everything about it.

We stayed at Big Bear Frontier for a relaxing weekend getaway. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice, hard-flow shower. The kitchenette was functional, although the microwave didn't turn the food. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent, right by the lake and close to shops.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location, friendly staff, clean rooms, next to the lake.
The rooms were a bit warm at night. This due to the sun beating down on the window all day and he room is geared for keeping the cold out. Believe they should add ceiling fans over the beds.

Good location for getting around lake and close to shops.
We thought the jacuzzi a bit overkill, especially the one in the living area. They need some cabins for seniors with regular showers.

We were looking for a hotel where we could bring our dog. This place was dog-friendly! Our cabin was cozy and clean and we loved that we could walk out the door to the lake and walk our dog. We were close to town so we could go to a restaurant and not be driving too far or be gone too long. It was perfect for our getaway!

location was keen
was very turned off by room. i thought we would be in a cabin; instead i was located in a room that was comparable to a motel 6 that was highly overpriced

We loved the location of this hotel, right next to the lake and amongst some beautiful giant pines. It was so convenient to walk to downtown and enjoy the shops and restaurants. The hotel facilities were great, with lots of outdoor seating, BBQs, and picnic tables that would be perfect for summertime. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our family getaway even more enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Can't fault anything about it.
